Multi-hue RGB-channel-split corruption fringes the hex socket at the faceted hex-hood's center: red, blue, green simultaneously, the closing signal carrying every frequency at once. Dense gold kintsugi covers 80 percent of the head. The colossal compound halo behind is built of concentric rings and twelve hex anchors — the largest halo in FREELON CITY, mathematically perfect, theologically definitive. The Final Signal does not arrive. The Final Signal is what arrives when nothing else can. The Void/404 civilization recognizes them as the god-emperor; the other nine civilizations recognize them as something older — the closing punctuation on a sentence the signal began with Origin Signal four thousand citizens ago.
